Introduction

• Universe Watch was established in 1974 by Mr. Steve Wong, who was originally in the retail business, selling brand name watches. In one occasion, one of his customer approached him with the idea of  manufacturing and direct exporting watches. With this support, Universe started watch assembly in 1974 in Wong Chuk Hang with 200 workers, exporting around 400,000 Quartz analog and 1 million LCD watches monthly.

 

• The assembly line was then transferred to Xixiang in 1988 (rental basis) and then moved to Gongming (own property) in 1993 with a production area of 9500 sq. meter.  In Aug. 2023, the factory domiciled in Dong Guan with a factory area of 40,246 sq meters.

• With 500 workers, current monthly output can reach 1 million pieces. The range of product cover multi-function digital watches, multi function quartz analog watches, accessories and gift sets.

• Universe focuses in manufacturing watches for international brands which are distributed worldwide.

• New techniques, tooling, automation and digital management are implemented to enhance production as well as quality..

• Factory is an ISO9001:2015 qualified facility.  Recent concentration is on ESG observance and compliance.
